Is there not another move coming today or shortly? Are they not going to have 8 D? I would think with Bouillon gone they're going to pick up a vet reserve d-man. |

I'm curious to see how Sekac will fare with the pace of the regular season (intensity of the game itself, and the schedule). Certainly showed a lot of speed and poise with the puck.
If Bergevin can't get rid of Moen, the odd man out is Bournival, as he can be sent down to Hamilton without going through waivers. I like the kid's speed, but he must add something else to his game, and hasn't been a revelation this camp like he was last year.
With Prust, Malhotra and Weise being firmly in place as the fourth line, Bournival didn't force himself in the lineup this camp, and could be sent down in my opinion. |

So Bergevin could still move before tomorrow.
I'm sure he doesn't like what he saw from the defense in preseason. |

He's not the only one.
Even PJ Stock can see it. |

Eric Engels: Habs Preseason Wrap; Release Bouillon, Trade Budaj
but I'd be so curious to see them like this:
Pacioretty-Desharnais-Gallagher
Galchenyuk-Plekanec-Sekac
Bourque-Eller-Parenteau
Prust-Malholtra-Weise
Bournival
This looks like 1-2-2-4 to me. - EricEngels
Problem with that line is that when they don't show, we'll have 1-2-0-4... and Parenteau is not the most steady of contributors...and neither are Eller and Bourque. |
